What We Truly Believe
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in three Persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.
We believe in the inspiration, infallibility, and authority of the Bible as found in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament.
We believe that God created the universe, earth, animals, and man in six true, twenty-four-hour days.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. He suffered terribly and died on the cross for our sins. He physically rose from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is the only mediator between God and man.
We believe that we are all sinners in need of salvation by grace, through belief and faith in Jesus Christ, and that all who turn to God in repentance, and personally trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally saved and forgiven of all their sins and stop sinning.
We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates the sinner, indwells, and guides the true believer.
We believe in the Rapture of the saved whether alive and dead to be forever with the Lord in the glory of a literal heaven on earth (Jerusalem)
We believe in the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ when judgment will fall on the unbelievers and unrepentant.
We believe in a literal Hell as a conscious eternal torment in the lake of fire for those who reject Jesus Christ.
NOTE FOR ALL:
We believe that there is hope for everyone with a chance of salvation if they turn from sin, live a sin-free life, repent their sins to Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
We believe the power of prayer is even more important today.
Watching the news, seeing social media and the protests and fighting has proven that although we have free will, we really don’t know how to interact with our fellow man.
According to God we all need to get along and help each other. There were always problems in the world, but nothing close to the one’s today.
Do you watch the news and get angry? Do you listen to politicians and get angrier and read social media and blow up. The fuse has been lit and we are hoping to cut it off or at least slow it down. This way everyone can take a breath and who knows maybe we can all get along…hopefully.
