What Will It Be Like After The Rapture?

What Will It Be Like After The Rapture? Surprise!

I guess I should first ask if you know what the “Rapture” is?

The word Rapture is not in the Holy Bible, but rapture means to be caught up or snatched up according to the Greek translation.

Thessalonians 4: 16-18 reads “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

After The Rapture

According to the Holy Bible it is a time when all true faithful Christians will be draw up to meet Jesus Christ in the air, be changed and then enter heaven.

How many true Christians are going is of course, unknown, but unless you are faithful believer, and have repented to God you will probably not be in that group.

Hear me. Unless you are faithful believer, and have repented directly to Jesus you will not be in that group.

What does that mean? Only true, faithful, and repentant believers in Jesus Christ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven before the Tribulation starts.

I will say it again. Only true and repentant believers in Jesus Christ. Luke 13:3 tells us “I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

When will this happen? According to scripture in Mark 13:32, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”

As far as what happens after the Rapture; I will get to that shortly.

I am sure some of you will be thinking “I can say I am a believer, or I can fake it like I have faked so many other things.” Here is a surprise to you that you wouldn’t know about since you don’t believe in God or Jesus Christ.

God knows exactly what is in your heart, so lying will create even more problems in ways you can’t imagine. Besides do you really want to annoy the One who created you, and can un-create you?

Imagine if God didn’t sacrifice His son Jesus Christ for our sins, most of us (including me) would already be dead and most at the same time. Yep. Poof! All Sinners Dead!

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4

And please don’t believe the garbage in the movies when someone says “I will see you in heaven,” or “My friend died and is in heaven” nonsense.

According to John 3:13 “No one has ascended into heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.” So, remember, that no one is in heaven… YET.

OK. Now let me get back to extremely important Rapture after effects.

The reason for the Rapture is to save true Christians from the coming Tribulation. God wants His true believers to be safe from His coming wrath against the remaining sinners and the earth.

When the Rapture occurs, there will be no true Christians left on the earth. If you think sin is occurring now, wait until then. Sin will become completely out of control since there will be no Christians to stop or even slow it down.

When I say “stop it” I mean to help control sin as much as possible.

Think of a dam. It has a few holes, and each hole represents sin. Right now there is leaking here and there, but true Christians plug the holes as much and quickly as possible. They keep plugging and plugging as more and more holes form.

Plugging the holes is just a temporary fix.

Once ALL all Christians have disappeared after the rapture, you now have a dam that is not being plugged, it completely collapses. What does that mean? A complete rush of evil of every kind descending on mankind.

You know what I mean because we have all seen dams collapse in real life in person or on TV as well as in the movies.

And everything “being rebuilt” occurs after the 7 year Tribulation, when God will completely rebuild the world without sin or Satan as explained in Revelations 20:2 “He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.”

And, Revelations 21, “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.” Not sure about the sea part, except maybe to have more open land for those saved so everyone is not cramped into small areas? A total Garden of Eden.

So, I think you get the idea.

A great explanation is from Clay Christensen, an academic and business consultant who did a short video which is on our ministry site. He tells the story of his meaningful encounter with a friend about religion. I won’t get into the details because you can view it on our homepage at: https://ourdividedworld.com. The most important part of the video is how he ended it by saying, “Without religion, you can’t hire enough police.”

That should give you an idea of what immense turmoil will occur in the world after the Rapture. Think of a riot of the whole world at one time without anyone to stop it from continuing.

But, as they say in TV commercials “Wait, there’s more.”

The Bible also tells us of earthquakes, desolation, devastation, persecution, hunger, wars, pestilence, famine, fires, destruction, outright pain and suffering without any possible relief, and it will continue for 7 years.

WOW. that’s a lot of seriously bad things happening all together! You can find this in Revelations with the “seals, trumpets and bowls” judgments but it is too long for me to write in this post.

I am not telling you this to get you to change your thoughts, but just to let you know what will be coming, so you can’t say “I didn’t know!” But some of you will probably say that anyway.

The End

In the long past preachers used to speak “fire and brimstone” when they preached. They were not crazy but warning people about the coming events. Even those walking around with the signs “The end is near” were just warning us to be aware and change the way we live, steer away from sin, and have a much better life in Jesus Christ.

Revelations in the Holy Bible has been eliminated from sermons for the most part so no one gets upset. But as I said in the past, do you want to get upset now or when the real problems start and you have no way out because the preachers didn’t tell you?

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:3

If you don’t accept and repent BEFORE the end comes it will be too late.
And if you die before believing, accepting and repenting it will be too late.

Today many people don’t want to hear bad news about the future, and many say “I’ll be dead before that!” You may be, but imagine returning from being dead to stand in judgment before the Lord you didn’t believe or accept! Think about that for a while.

A lot of people say that others have been warning about the end-of-days for years, and that is true. But why are they warning? Not because it will happen when they say, but because if you die before you repent you will end up coming back anyway for judgment. Accept or believe it or not.

Revelations 20:12-13 explains about ALL the dead returning, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life, and the dead were judged according to their works (doing good, helping others, and spreading the gospel), by the things that were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.

Still think you’re not coming back? Probably not if you are a non-believer or atheist. But as a Christian, you need to re-think your thoughts about being dead as the final end. Because it’s not.

He builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the LORD is his name.
Amos 9:6

So, if you think you will be dead you are right, and very wrong.

But, there is GLORIOUS HOPE in Jesus Christ! Strengthen your faith and belief in Jesus, repent of your sins only to Him (there is nothing in the Holy Bible about confessing to clergy), and do good things as part of your faith. That is the only way to get into heaven according to the scriptures.

HOPE. Put your hope in our blessed Jesus Christ to be saved in the Rapture ‘before’ the coming turmoil and tribulation. Revelation 21:4 explains “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.

That should help you if you are searching for a direction in life. We would love to hear from you if you have any questions or comments about our post. Our email addresses are below.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
