Why Doesn’t God…

I am always reading some of the atheist posts and at times commenting. The majority of their posts are always the same and nothing new. They are usually complaining about why Christians would believe religion and the Bible, when according to atheists are not real in the sense of being incorrect or written on purpose to control people.

I will get back into those remarks later.

The one and most consistent comment is “Why doesn’t God stop…” You can fill in the blank for yourself. Crime, hate, death, and the list goes on and on. Atheists feel that God, the one they don’t believe exists, should be doing more to stop the problems of the world.

This made me think more about their reasoning. They don’t want to do anything! They want the world to be peachy and wonderful so all they have to do is sit back and do nothing. This is easy to confirm if you read any of their post on FB in the atheists verses Christians groups.

A NOTE TO CHRISTIANS: If you do decide to go and read these groups, do yourself a favor, and do not respond or comment even if you think you are doing a good thing. Why? Because many atheists are also self-centered. They are braggers who feel they know more and are smarter than Christians, and have even commented to that several times. It’s also because science can’t confirm God! In case you are wondering, God in beyond the realm of empirical validation; meaning science couldn’t see, find, analyze of prove God exists, since He is the creator of everything… including science and scientists.

So, in my thoughts He is giving us all we need to live and be prosperous on earth. Also, keep in mind that evil is also present. Evil will find a way to move people from God and into his realm. Scientists do many wonderful things, and things not so wonderful, such as weapons and things that cause diseases that we use everyday. Then, atheists would say, “Why doesn’t God remove evil or kill Satan?” For a Christian the answer is simple. God gives us free-will or choices to make and we can choose good ones or bad ones. He wants us to learn from our mistakes and forgives us when we err to evil; another thing atheists do not know or refuse to accept.

In case you are wondering further, God is not visible to anyone alive or dead until they/we are taken by the Lord in the rapture. Then, and only then, will we see God in all His glory.

Anything you write on the atheist social media pages will be discounted or you will be called names by some. There is nothing you can say that will convince the atheist that he is wrong. Don’t even try. I have found they feed on berating and wanting to cause Christians to fall and leave their faith. Also, the word faith means nothing to them and they will scoff at the mention of the word.

I was questioned about using the word Faith when communicating with several atheists. The answer faith wasn’t enough; the next comment was “do you still accept faith when you are in a lie?” The lie is what they consider religion and the Bible. My comment was “Your non belief is your truth, mine is faith which you wouldn’t understand,” and end with my blessings. Some leave and other want to battle further, and can do so without me.

Atheist hate not getting their way. It is like a bunch of unruly children. I have asked some in the posts why they no longer believe, and many comment they were Christians and something made them leave their religion. Some reasons are because they didn’t like having to go to church as children or being told they were wrong being sinners or being judged and any number of things.

That only confirmed my suspicions that atheists are spoiled children that do not want to live by any rules but their own. Don’t get me wrong, they are not bad people and live by their own rules and not against the law. My only issue with atheists is that they are trying to force Christians away from their faith saying they believe in lies. The “lies” are what Atheists believe that have been written for ages by other atheists to disprove the Bible and God. These are the lies they use to convince themselves, because they are angry at the Christian (and maybe others) religion. Why are they angry? Read it CLICK HERE.

In my opinion, there is no way to prove or disprove God exists. It is a Christians faith that strengthens that belief.

Now, it is my time to comment on one of their assertion about God. Why doesn’t God just fix things? Because He wants us to understand our nature of sin. He is a Father who wants His children to behave and live righteously, which, if you think about it is not so bad. The one thing atheists don’t think about is what would it be like without Christians on the earth? They would probably say, “It would be great. No lies.” However, it has been proven that without Christians the world would have already been in complete turmoil.

Why? Because laws are made according to the Bible scriptures. Or founding Fathers were Christians and used the Bible to form the U.S. and the constitution. These laws keep us safer than without them. What atheists fail to understand is that religion has been in the forefront of our (U.S.A.) democracy since it’s inception. But evil has found it way in more and more to create as much turmoil as possible. I will dispense from commenting about other countries, since I don’t know enough about their religions, if any.

Another issue with atheists is that they think Christians are following the Bible because they are afraid of hell and dying. Well, as far as I am concerned and many millions more, we are not afraid of hell or dying because of our faith and belief only.

We, as followers of Christ Jesus are not forced or coerced as atheists imply into everything. Except maybe… you may have to speak to Catholics a little different since they have learned from a Catholic Bible (which has several differences from the KJV) and have to follow specific church rules. Christ Jesus believers only follow His words of scriptures.

As Christ Jesus followers of the rules of the 10 Commandments (altered by the Catholic church) we try to stay on a righteous path throughout life. This path is not forced but gives us peace, compassion, understanding, guidance and hope in an eternal life.

I believe many atheists were probably Christians, but their faith was weak and made it easy for them to leave and become atheists, agnostic or non-believers. So, why don’t atheists leave it there? Anger. They use the excuse that Christians forced them away or that they saw the scientific light. This is the scientific light that can’t prove there is a God. Of course, as a believer we can say God created science, since it can be found in the Bible in many places.

Atheists when confronted with that information quickly dismiss it and claim the Bible doesn’t read that way. So, how would they know? Many have never read the Bible so they just follow along with their crowd and own egos. The next, but not surprising comment I read was the one about “serving the Lord.” It seems that some, not sure if it is most, atheists don’t like serving anyone. So, when it comes down to serving the Lord, they still don’t understand the concept. “Serving” means to do what you can to further the Words of the Bible by helping others.

It is to humble yourself to your fellow man or woman, which is something atheist may not know nothing about, or did at one time. One wrote “I am not serving anyone forever,” which also tells me this person is just proving my thoughts about not understanding the words of the Bible and going with the remarks of other atheists.

However, if he work a job for anyone, he is serving them for a very long time if his job is important and that is a hypocrite.

I also want to write that this is not about every atheist, but many, especially on FB and other social media sites. As Christians, the one thing to keep in mind is that you can’t change an atheist, just as they can’t change you. However, if you can figure out why they are angry you may have a chance to help them find their way back to Christianity or just out of their anger.

If you do manage to get caught up in a atheist group remember to be courteous, compassionate and understanding no matter how mean or nasty the response. And always add a blessing at the end of your comment.
