Do You Think You Really Know Jesus Christ? The Teachings of Jesus Christ and His Disciples
Do you truly know what Jesus taught according to the scriptures and the Torah (Old Testament)? Reading the Holy Bible can help you know, and understand what many preachers are leaving out of their sermons.
Also, it helps you understand false preachers, and what they are trying to convince you about a different scripture they made up by eliminating sin, repentance, redemption. It seems that they don’t want to scare or upset their parishioners.
Plus, it seems today, that many people who read the Holy Bible have a tendencey of only reading specific verses, and then quoting them to fit their own agenda. They leave out the before and after verses that can change the meaning completely. Before you quote a scripture read the whole chapter.
Here are some guidelines that will help you navigate fake verses and give you a better understanding of His words:
Love and Compassion
Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30).
He also taught to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31).
