When a Culture Forgets God, the Mind Breaks – Part 2
A Debased Mind-2. The Mental Pandemic Is Here!
Fight back or be consumed! Deceit and hate are evil weapons of destruction while demons in the mind spread chaos and division. The battle for spiritual truth is raging, and only by returning to God can we overcome the mental chains of deceit and hatred. What are you going to do?

The world is spiraling into madness, while deceit, hate, anger, and rage are spreading uncontrollably, while simple reasoning and sanity are quickly eroding. Darkness is consuming minds and hearts, and the clock is ticking because every moment lost deepens the darkness, while demons of the mind spread chaos and division.
Even the simplest questions unnecessarily become battle grounds of the mind. What is a man and a woman? Can a man get pregnant? What does the word illegal mean? Is it OK to steal or destroy? The simplest questions have become political tools to propagate confusion and mostly division. Even lying when a video shows conclusive proof and evidence is presented is a political tool.
However, the Bible explicitly warns us in Romans 1:28, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting…” You may want to read the rest of the chapter to get a better understanding of the “debased mind, “and its after-effects.
Simply stated, God gave them what they wanted; to be free of any relationship with God. This wasn’t a punishment, but a choice; be with God or not. We make those kinds of choices every day. Do I do this or do that? Do I want to hang around believers or non-believers? Be good or bad?
Now is the time to break free before it’s too late, and find salvation in God’s truth to overcome the mental chains of deceit, hatred, moral inversion and vanishing discernment.

The only cure is a swift return to God’s light and truth. Keep-in-mind that lies, hatred, and deceit are not just words; they are the chains that are continuing to bind humanity. Are they binding you? Do you want to get free of them?
Here are several and specific actions that can help you combat the mental pandemic’s destructive effects, and move toward healing, truth, and spiritual restoration through God.
1. Personal Reflection and Spiritual Renewal
Dedicate time each day to pray or meditate, seeking guidance, peace and clarity from God. Engage regularly with the Bible or other spiritual scriptures to deepen understanding of truth and moral principles. Honestly acknowledge your personal faults, and seek forgiveness to cleanse the mind and heart of negativity.
2. Cultivate Compassion and Forgiveness
Practice forgiveness by letting go of grudges and anger towards others to break cycles of hate. You can also show empathy by actively listening, and also by trying to understand others’ perspectives, reducing misunderstandings and conflict. Small and consistent acts of kindness can counteract negativity and promote healing.
3. Guard Against Misinformation
Before accepting or sharing news, you should check facts from reliable, truthful sources to avoid spreading lies. Reduce consumption of TV and social media that promotes division, anger, or deceit; even if it is your favorite show or social media group. Encourage honest and respectful conversations in personal and community settings.
4. Build Supportive Communities
Participate in communities that foster truth, love, and surround yourself with people who encourage growth, truth, and peace and biblical growth.
5. Mental and Emotional Health Care
Seek counseling or spiritual guidance to help address underlying anger, fear, or deceit. Techniques like mindfulness, breathing exercises, or nature walks can calm the mind, and stay clear of substances and people that impair judgment or fuel negative emotions.
6. Advocate for Truth and Justice
Stand firmly against lies, hate, and deceit in your community and beyond, and support programs that teach critical thinking, ethics, and spiritual values. Lead by example and embody truth, love, and integrity in daily life to inspire others.
By taking these concrete steps, you can combat the mental pandemic’s destructive effects and move toward healing, truth, and spiritual restoration through God. Go with God… every day.

Final comment. Many will tell you to love everyone, be tolerant, fight the government, etc. That is not biblical teaching but these are:
Biblical Teaching Regarding Government:
1 Peter 2:13-14 instructs believers to “be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution,” whether the supreme leader or local officials. Which means to honor the government no matter who is in office in the ways of the Lord.
Beyond simple compliance, the Bible calls for showing honor and respect to those in power, regardless of their personal character (1 Peter 2:17)
Rioting is classified as lawlessness—acting as if there is no law—which is explicitly condemned 1 John 3:4.
Scripture teaches that “God is not a God of disorder but of peace” (1 Corinthians 14:33), contrasting divine peace with the chaos of a mob.
Romans 13:2 warns that whoever “rebels” or “resists” authority—in the sense of defiant, violent opposition—brings judgment on themselves.
Christians are forbidden from taking revenge or “paying back evil for evil,” which is often the fuel for rioting (Romans 12:17-19).
Jesus’ command to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Matthew 7:12) precludes damaging someone else’s livelihood or business in the name of a cause.
Biblical Teachings Regarding Other Religions or Ideologies:
The Old Testament repeatedly warns against adopting the practices or gods of other nations, viewing them as spiritual distortions that lead people away from the one true God (Exodus 20:3-5).
Biblical teaching suggests other religions developed as humanity “exchanged the truth of God for a lie,” leading to the worship of created things rather than the Creator (Romans 1:21-25).
Scripture advises against getting into “foolish and stupid arguments” about religious opinions, urging believers instead to be kind to everyone (2 Timothy 2:23-24).
While being kind to everyone, believers are warned not to be “unequally yoked” with those who do not share their faith, meaning they should not let other values or spirits compromise their core devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Biblical Teachings About Lying and Deceit:
Proverbs 6:16-19 lists a “lying tongue” and a “false witness who breathes out lies” among the seven things God hates.
Jesus taught that “false testimony” comes from within the heart and is what defiles a person (Matthew 15:18-20).
A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape” (Prov. 19:5).
Jesus knew what he was talking about when he called the devil “a liar and the father of lies” (John 8:44)
Deceit erodes trust, which is the foundation for healthy relationships and community (Ephesians 4:25)
The New Testament warns that “all liars” will face eternal separation from God in the “lake of fire” (Revelation 21:8)
These are just some of the many verses to help you understand, and reason with what is happening across our country. You have fee-will to decide what to do or not do with your life.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
